For several years TLC was airing a show called Toddlers and Tiaras which depicted those awful youth beauty pageants which shamelessly sexualized young girls. Eventually people got wise and realized that the whole practice is disgusting.
Now Discovery+ is putting out a show called Generation Drag that's showing boys of a similar age being exploited in the same way. There doesn't seem to be any controversy.
I don't know if any of you have ever been to a drag show; but, they're meant for adults. Desmond is Amazing was once paraded around like a stripper with adult men throwing cash at him as he danced provocatively; that was a couple years ago and he's eleven now.
So, is this where the woke left is? It's not cool to sexually exploit young girls but we can celebrate sexualizing young boys?
Maybe we shouldn't be sexualizing children? Oh, I can't say that without being labelled a right-winger.
