As court cases drag on for years, at the rate of one every 24 - 30 months there'll be 2 - 3+ more school shootings [make that "student murders"] before some legal-schmegal chicane spuriously "solves the problem".
Where is Florida Governor Rick Scott in this? To date, surely not putting a premium on teenage lives by firing the grizzly Sheriff Israel and his ragbag coffle of PCBS retainers. Maybe it's time for a new paradigm: Let Trump do it.
Sheriffs are normally elected officials.
Not sure what the Florida laws on recalling an elected official are, but I'm sure someone in Broward County is working on it.
