Do you like the new button ''Post'' on steemit ?

in discussion •  7 years ago  (edited)

I don't know why steemit team updated the ''Submit a Story'' button into ''Post'' button, it looks now more like facebook with the dark blue color, I liked more the light blue color !

I also liked the ''Submit a Story'' button, because I've read that the modern marketing if better if you tell a story, and I thought that steemit team used that for purpose, but now I understand that they want steemit more like facebook, but I think that we have to be unique, it's better for the platform to grow.

Did you like the ''Submit a Story'' button more ?

Or do you like the ''Post'' button more ?

I think it's ok why not. Cheers mike

Yes It's very similar to facebook.
I like it.
and you also give our opinion

I prefer the submit a story than a post with blue background. Because everyone has its unique story. While if it post, then its become similar to other social media, anyone can post anything even. The worst copy paste article or content with no substance.

I really miss the "Submit a Story" button!

"Post" in blue like this reminds me a lot more of Facebook (F*ck them) and seems more clinical and sterile.

The words "Submit a Story" actually inspired me to tell good stories, "Post" seems more like 'meeh anything goes' for me...

Just my 2 cents

I strongly prefer the previous layout.

They squashed everything into the top line... probably to save vertical screen space... which was never an issue.

Submit a Story was far better than this "POST" button.
I especially dislike its sharp corners and its color.

Also, the grouping of actions was better on two lines. Now it is confusing if you do not know the word's meanings which things do what.

I don't even know how to contact the support to tell them to change that, I see a lot of people didn't like that

I couldn't contact the support to tell them I would like to help with making steemit better.

Apparently, they all talk on github. Not here.

can we write something on github, is it easy to do ? I thought github is kind of place just for programmers

You just have to make an account over there.

Its not hard, but its designed by geeks for geeks.
