All I know is that Riddick 4 was supposed to be made, I don't know if has been or not yet, last I heard it was delayed because of a friends death, shit like that happens. besides the maybe one day new Riddick movie coming out, any new one like since 2011 that maybe I should look at, I like Sci-fi, and fantasy, and action, all combined in one if possible. I don't know which movie is newer Ultra-violet, or the last Resident evil movie. That's how current I am on movies. Did I miss anything good in the last 5 years or so?

Riddick is a futuristic dark concept sci-fi movie starring Vin Diesel. I think Pitch Black was the first movie. Interstellar transport get blasted by a meteor storm, (everyone is in sleep stasis), captain gets killed crash land on desert planet, Riddick is being held captive on said transport ship by bad bounty hunter, after crash landing, survive, some do some don't. I liked all three of the movies in the series.

Well, in my country, Venezuela, the television advertises the Oscar for weeks; but, I think that each year has less rating; I get the impression that the quality of the films has been decreasing and they try to support it with external issues that have nothing to do with the objective of the award: the movies, their actors, their directors, etc. Particularly, yesterday I knew about the awards because my youngest daughter told me about it, but nobody saw it in my house...for me, in my country, the enemedia uses this type of show as a distracting action of the real problems that the country and its people present ... very similar to Miss Universe.
