Those traits, combined with Jankowicz' comically unprofessional musical theater parodies, made her extremely easy to mock right out of the gate.
Had the Biden administration hired someone who seemed to be more serious, maybe the board would have been harder to make fun of, and therefore harder to kill so quickly.
Alternatively, I suppose it's possible that such a board still exists inside the DHS but is just being called something else.
Either way, I wouldn't abandon any FOIAs on the subject just yet, but I'm glad we still live in a country where a large number of people see this kind of thing and flip it the bird.
