The book in this first picture is titled "The Fountain of Youth". I did not intentionally pick this book as the main photo, I picked it by chance. But as I review what I wrote below I found it remarkably fitting and ironic. Because, our nastalgia, our yearning for the past, our childhood, is our own personal fountain of youth.
As I grow older, my sense of nastalgia for things I loved in the past grows too. Especially for things I've lost.
One of those things is the comic book collection I amassed as kid. In particular, I miss the Greek Disney comic books, which I read most.
I can never have those books back, but, I have built up a new smaller collection. Below are a few pictures of what I have accumulative in recent years.
