The last few readings have suggested an inevitable change and the burden of not feeling ready and possibly the great sadness that comes with long contracted ideas, ways, patterns, cycles, and attachments.

I feel I truly know what you mean now when you speak of how hard it is to comment on poems written by others that feel too close.
I could make chit-chat, mention how lovely those John Dee books are (glorious!).
I could be more topical, and say that at least you've got the Ace of Swords at the end there, which promises a resolution, of the sort that will be good for you.
But this post, just like poetry, is about you. And communication is about people. So I'll say this, that even without that final card in the spread, I believe in you. And I'm here to support you as necessary, even if it means to let you resolve things on your own, when the need is there.

That's actually a cross -- the Lenormand deck is not like the tarot at all. It's more literal, there is no room for "scrying" meaning. Each card basically represents a word and you read them as such, no "reading into them", just simply plug and play.
The main word for the cross is Burden.
I have a good idea as to what the cards have been trying to tell me.
Thank you for your kind words and lovely sentiment. <3

Interesting.
As to divining the cards, didn't suspect any different. More about the final sentiment. Though it's interesting how the "burden" card in Tarot switches to the center, but is still there.
And always <3
