So I was tired of coiling my power cords only to have them get tangled regardless. My friend Josh went on YouTube and found an interesting resolution and we already had all the materials needed.
Plywood
Bucket
Bolts and nuts
Marbles
Angle brackets
PVC pipe
Power cord
1st grab a bucket and toss a few marbles in it:
2nd Grab some plywood and measure/cut it into 2 circles. 1 for bottom and one for near the top...
3rd Sand them making them close to circular as you can get...
4th Attach brackets to PVC pipe and plywood as seen in pictures and drill a hole near the edge of top board and run cord end through the hole then wrap power cord around PVC pipe...
5th Place inside bucket to check it fits...
6th Now assemble the handle as seen here to the top board...
7th Cut hole in the side of the bucket for the cord to run through...
8th The end that plugs into the wall should go through a hole in plywood on top and have enough cord to reach outlet from bucket being set next to outlet. keep it velcroed when not in use. Pull cord out of bucket prior to plugging it in...
