Here is the Avocado Wood Dish/Bowl after we finished sanding and finishing it.

We finished it with one coat of Danish Oil. When that dried we put on four coats of Wipe On Polyurethane.

We make the wall of the dishes / bowls that we will use for normal use thicker do they can survive the daily bumps, and drops, of daily use.

We used to go for thin walls on the Avocado wood pieces and they looked cool until we dropped them and they just cracked.

The good thing about this wood is that it is light and the grain pattern is very interesting.
