Offgrid Living in Hawaii - Spearfishing Story

I was hoping to get the video up but ran into a problem and thus here is a picture of the two Nenue (Chubs) that I caught yesterday.

I went to my normal spot but instead it being empty there were 11 people there. I couldn't believe it. I was hoping to get in and out of the water but no.

I decided to walk over the hill to another spot I dive and there was no one in sight. I got ready and jumped in.

The water was super clear and there were a lot of fish off to my left. I took my warm up dive and this Nenue swam in range and I took a shot and it was a perfect head shot.

I strung it on my shooting line and reloaded. Then I could hear people talking. Three of the people that I ran away from were snorkeling and talking right next to me. I could not believe it.

I took another drop and took another shot on a Nenue and landed that. I thought they would swim somewhere else but the people just hung around me.

I had enough fish so I called it a day. I spent 10 minutes in the water and an hour total time getting in and out of the water.

At least you got your fish.

Yes. I am so grateful for the opportunities the ocean provides.

I currently live as far away from the ocean as it is possible to get. :-p I miss it.
