We started out by hitting the resale shops!

Boots for about 3 bucks.

A blue shirt.

Five-dollar bike helmet we reshaped with a razor knife and covered in blue tape. The earpieces will be dollar store earmuffs covered in blue (see top pic).

I sawed the tops off of some Lego blocks to make the shapes for the helmet.

My partner passed out mid-project. He’s had a long day. I love this guy so much.

I taped together two different-sized plastic bottle halves to form the blaster, and inserted a wooden handle so the blaster can be easily taken off and put back on anytime.

Add some origami paper and tape at the firing end, and it’s not half bad!

To do:

Still need to get a light blue spandex/Speedo/underwear-type piece to go over the blue pants.

Stay tuned for pics from the party and Zbee (my son) in his full Mega Man transformation!

Thanks for reading!

Really cool. My son is going as a shark this year, but we didn't get that creative. Haha passed out mid-project isn't bad. Mine would have been trying to throw everything away before saying trash. He's a good helper when you need stuff thrown away though!

wow! Carry on

Excellent post.
