36 Pin Centronics Breakout board for 3D Printer Mod

in diy •  6 years ago

I have been meaning to re-wire my 3D printer for ages, but rather than have heaps of wires coming into a control box, I wanted a nice simple cable hooking the 3D printer to the control box.

So I decided that a 36 Pin Centronics cable would be ideal. These are old SCSI cables used on older PCs.

I have a couple of PCB mounted connectors so I decided to make a break out board that I can get made up in china for like $2 and sent to me...

I used the program called "DipTrace" to make this.. and here is the 3D model after it is made..
