Moving dead cars on a trailer, for fun and profit!

We got a call that two vehicles had to be moved Today! The first was an mid 70's 3/4 ton Ford F250 extended cab, the second was a 80 Camero with no engine.

The first was free, if we could move it; and the second would net $300 upon delivery. We decided to do both, because the cash would help fix the first one.

Here is the truck:

We need one like this, to pull the skid steer we are almost done repairing.

Inside looks like this:

Someone showed this truck a lot of love at one time.

She need a radio:

But not top priority, LOL! I will remove the extra wires, and tape it all off for safety before she get a battery.

She is so big, that she almost didn't fit on the trailer:

Both the tires touched the sides of the trailer, and hung over both ends. This is an 18 foot trailer!

We destroyed our come along loading this beast:

This was the hardest load out I've ever done on this trailer, and it's hauled many cars!

On the way to the auto hospital:

Moved it out to a friend's place so we can work on her at leisure...whatever that is....

You can see how much bigger she is than the half ton truck pulling her:

She is a beast for sure! With a 360 V-8 under the hood, and it's all there; and looks pretty good for a 45 year old truck.

In her hospital berth waiting for repair:

We had to unload her to load up the Camero.

We pulled her into place with an RZR:

It rolled easy, and the brakes still worked, but she was hard to steer with a partially flat front tire.

Here's where we pulled her out:

You can see the Camero next to the recently emptied spot!

Here's the Camero:

We got this one loaded too, but we ran out of light, after emptying the yard. As a direct result, it was left on the trailer to be unloaded in a few days.

This solved the problem with the house needing a clear yard! It was 103°F today, so this was very hard just because of the high temperatures. I must admit I'm glad the vehicles are both moved out of the yard!

Now, we got another project car....

👍🤠💗😳
