DJI is launching internationally its new drones for the agricultural sector, Agras T30, and Agras T10.

Different proposals for those looking for agricultural drones for pest control in their fields or monitoring their crops.

New agricultural drones from DJI

DJI launched these drones last year in China but is now extending this proposal to the whole world.

On the one hand, the Agras T30 has a spray tank of 30 liters, 16 nozzles, and a range of 9 meters. And according to DJI's description, it can cover more than 16 hectares in an hour, ensuring a uniform application of the product taking into account different scenarios.

Using DJI's digital agriculture solutions, the T30 helps reduce fertilizer use and increase yields with effective data-driven best practices. [...] Eight sets of solenoid valves allow independent variable frequency control and spraying in turn.

On the other hand, the Agras T10, with an 8-liter spray tank, can cover up to 6 hectares per hour. This model has 4 nozzles with an average output of up to 2.4 liters per minute. Both drones have a spherical radar system, dual FPV cameras, IP67 rating, and a high-life battery system, among other features that simplify fumigation or monitoring of the fields.

And on the other hand, those who bet on these new DJI drones to monitor crops can integrate them with the functions offered by the Smart Agriculturer Cloud Platform. By taking the data recorded by the drones and leveraging the potential of the platform's artificial intelligence system, they can monitor different aspects of their crops to implement quick fixes.

And while these types of drones are intended for agricultural activities, they can have multiple uses to cover large crops or areas. For example, in this video they explain how they use an agricultural drone for a very particular use: feeding koi fish on shelves scattered over about 32 hectares.
