The DJS1000 is a lot of fun, I have not had too much time to do a lot with it yet but I am going to be trying to work less at my normal job this year so I have more time to get back into music. The last 8 years I have been working way too much 6-7 days a week, hopefully this is the last year I have to work like this. Over the last 2 years I have upgraded a lot of my studio stuff in the hopes of getting back into music more.

It's awesome that you kept the gear, man, and yea I hear you 100% that you gotta have some kind of activity outside of work to not go completely mental. I work in software dev, that also can come with crazy hours far too often, so having something more creative as an outlet for a soul is great. Best of luck in your ventures, man!
