The Truth About Being A Content Creator

The truth about being a content creator. People overlook how much goes into making a video. I posted an innocent poll that was intended for getting people's thoughts on Steemit. A guy left me a 2-page essay which had nothing to do with the post and said I don't put work into my videos. How does this guy think these videos happen? They spawn out of the sky? The truth is about being a creator is people will judge you on their standards. Or so it seems. I am not the best at titling things but I am going to practice at it.

To be fair (not to justify the guy you mentioned), most people have no idea how much work it takes to create videos or other content that requires technical knowledge and experience. It's frustrating, especially when you put in a lot of work and people to whom you proudly show your work react as if it took you five minutes. They don't know what happens under the hood.

Honestly, from the title I thought you wanted to actually explain the process and the knowledge and effort it can take to make such a product.

I did in a different video called 'how I edit my videos' I rather that be in a separate video so it won't be too long. In the video, if I am not mistaken, I said I planned on making a video showing my editing process. Either I will upload it or I already did. Since my videos are pre-recorded.

Don’t worry about them, just do you

Hey @aaliyahholt, here is a little bit of BEER from @donald.porter for you. Enjoy it!

Yeah, it usually takes me three hours to write my usual posts, and that doesn't have any of the technical difficulties of making a video.

Your posts may call for research depending on what you're writing about. You spend hours on that to make sure you are getting your info from a reliable source.
