Obama signed into laws regulations about net neutrality. If you're a Steemian, you have to be on the side of net neutrality. Who wants big business controlling our pathway to internet and having the ability to charge more for faster streams or to throttle our access for the sake of their profit. But of course Trump repealed that protection for us, like he has tried to undo every single thing that Obama was credited for. Well thankfully in 2016 the lower courts upheld Obama's regulations over Trump's attempted repeal. Trump's administration then took it to the Supreme Court to have that ruling overturned. This finally fell through when the Supreme Court decided not to hear the appeal, and Obama's legislation stands.

Of course the Trump administration is against a free and open internet, anything that is good for us, he is against. In the end it will mean higher prices for us with the same bad service. At some point there will be mesh net internet, that will put these greedy bastards out of business.

The internet is not what it use to be it no longer can be a free system to much shit goes on on it

Putting an ex lawyer for the cable companies in charge of the FCC was brilliant.  Like letting the fox run the henhouse.
