The 32-year-old withstood almost five hours of Federer brilliance, dredging his tank of mental and physical fortitude to prevail in the first Wimbledon singles final decided by a tiebreak.

I was siding with Federer on this final match but him defeated doesn't that I will be disappointed about it. It was a really long and challenging game for both players. Kudos to both!

I have to agree, both players have experience the most challenging match of their lives. I was rooting for Federer as well, even though he didn't get his 9th this time round.
