Dutch solar road proves successful, moves on to heavy traffic road trial

A solar bike path trial in the Netherlands has exceeded all expectations, and will now be rolled out to a road with heavier traffic. The SolaRoad pilot cycle path alongside the N203 near Krommenie, in the Netherlands, was opened in October 2014. It is 90 m long and 3.5 m wide.
