Major League Baseball had a rough week in the aftermath of the electronic sign stealing scandal.  Three major league managers lost their jobs as part of the fallout.

The New York Mets parted ways with Carlos Beltran, who never managed a single game for the team.  He was part of the Astros as a player in the year the cheating took place.

According to general manager Brodie Van Wagonen, the Mets are close to naming Luis Rojas as the new manager of the team.  He is with the organization for 14 years and is well regarded.  He is also part of the Alou baseball family.
