Streamline Your Workflow by Assigning Tasks to Days of the Week

Switching between a number of different tasks during the day can make it hard to focus, and can make completing those tasks harder than they need to be. Instead of shifting your focus back and forth during the day, try and dedicate specific days to specific tasks.

 

Not sure this would work for me but it could be beneficial in a more structured business.

Sort Order:  

I do this, very broadly:

  • Monday - my creative day - needlework, arty stuff
  • Tuesday and Wednesday - heavy duty research and reportwriting
  • Thursday - London for meetings etc
  • Tidy Friday - all those bits and pieces of jobs that need doing.
  • Saturday - House related things, if I'm in, or visits and trips.
  • Sunday - cooking, gardening, eating :)
    The best thing was deciding on Tidy Friday and keeping Monday for myself.
