This really does capture the present state of cryptocurrency and Dapps. We need ease of use. That is the primary feature that will help with mass adoption. The public wont embrace things that are very difficult.

If I may say, some DAPPs are much better right now - you can buy coins on DEX associated gates without KYC, and you have easy names such as @taskmaster4450 on many chains, EOS apps need no fees (still have some issues with CPU-spam). But after all, the DAPPs are past the stage shown in a clip already.
The developement is going so fast. The one who looks on the price action have NO CLUE to the actual progress in crypto.

I hope that useful Dapps like Steemmonsters, Steemhunt and Actifit will lead the way on how development on Steem goes. The more easy, intuitive and useful an App is the more likely it is to be successful.
