“Centerline” by Ava Luna Review | Pitchfork

For nearly a decade, Ava Luna’s records have pulled from krautrock, funk, and yé-yé to create a sound that is beguiling and straight-up weird. “Centerline,” a bright, flashing bulb of a dance track, is the second single from the Brooklyn band’s upcoming fifth album, Moon 2. It finds them in familiar territory—making a song fit for the smokiest and chicest of bars on the darkest and sweatiest of nights.
