Blockchain offers a great deal of promise in helping the security of digitally signed documents. The problem with these is that the document still needs to be accessed to check the signature. This is a security flaw. Since blockchain is immutable, we are seeing the ability to prevent the change, meaning, through the use of NFTs, we will get an added layer of security.
