Carmelo Anthony was out of the NBA for close to a year.  This ends over the next week is that he will be back, after agreeing to a deal with the Portland Trailblazers.

Anthony's close friend, Labron James, is supportive of the move.  He feels that Anthony belongs in the NBA..

The game is passing Anthony by since the league went to 3 point shooting meaning pick and rolls are more important.  Anthony, even in his prime, was not the greatest of defenders.

Anthony's time in Houston did not end well.  He will hopefully have the goodbye tour that so many great players get.
