While Gaming has always been a part of my life, I thought I was going to give it up but here I am, back into gaming! This would be my first stream on Steemit. I used to stream my games on twitch but as I've been on Steemit I don't support those "centralized" social media platforms anymore.
This is more or less a new series that I've been wanting to start. It's the Path to Ascension in ARK: Survival Evolved.
The idea is to pursue a completionist approach to Ark inspired by the Explorer Notes left by the former survivors, ascending from one ark to the next starting with The Island, and Ascending one Ark at a time all the way to Extinction.
As I try to get it started, I definitely had some technical issues with the encoding for my first go! It took a little bit to get the settings right and it may be a struggle the next time I go live, but bare with me as I fix things. With a new PC, I was not sure how I was having bad FPS issues but I believe I worked out the kinks for now. Stream still needs further testing but I think that for my first dlive stream everything ended smoothly.

As I worked towards getting the framerates smoothed out, by the time I did I was able to just keep on streaming without having to reset. You can skip to about 1 hour and 40 minutes to skip the troubleshooting process of tweaking my stream.

Yeah, my live streams are typically not short. It took me about an hour and 40 minutes to smooth out my frame rates so if you want to actually see gameplay you'd have to skip to the 2 hour mark or later lol :P
