Today I show you how easy it is to plant some elephant ear ornamental plants - something we immediately recognize as edible from our experience farming in Colombia.

Watch me garden with one hand, If I can garden while taking selfie video, won't you consider giving it a try?

I'd never known about the potential protein from elephant ear plants. We've had them in gardens before, never saw them as big as some of those you had there.

Well, maybe I didn't complete that thought totally, the protein conversion comes when you feed these leaves or trunks to chickens!

Hey Skip, now that you are rep 50, have you heard about the byteball airdrop? Its based on reputation, and by linking a byteball wallet to your steem account name, they will make a 40 dollar deposit in byteballs (for users with 50 rep)! I have a friend that started @balls2steem for those that want to powerup those gains in steem. Let me know if you are interested.

I signed up a few days ago, rep was 47, made 10 bucks... oh well, better than nothing! :)

Better than a poke in the eye my granddad always said!

"Elephant Ear"; strange name to us in tropical Nigeria, which was described as "ornamental" plant.

Could it be deployed for other uses?? @ecoinstant

I tried to send you a message in Twitter, but couldn't, because you don't follow me, therefore i can't, so anyway, I think I heard you say you have developed apps before??? I saw a post about that and thought you may be interested. https://steemit.com/smts/@steemitblog/don-t-wait-for-smts-to-start-building-your-steem-app
I'd love to see someone build an app that is similar to Wordpress for steemit and Busy.

Hey! Sorry about that, I'm pretty new to twitter, will remedy that right away! I will check that post out, but although I am aspiring to be 'that guy', I'm still learning!

I won't be on twitter for 6 days because of a tweet I sent to Tomi Lahren...

Oh come on Skip, tell me the story! Did you get ban-hammered or something?

I called Tomi Lahren a feckless cu#t!

You need another pair of hands, one to film for you while you work. Or perhaps a tripod? I haven't seen these plants here, perhaps they don't like the soil where we live?

huh I wonder if those things grow in Texas? I doubt it. hey how hot is it there this time of year? you guys close to the ocean?
haha the one-handed gardener, you invented another occupation sir ecoin!

I'm an innovator indeed!

It is hot but also really HUMID! This morning the meter said 99% humidity. We are on the 'nature' coast, which kind of looks like the armpit if you think of it, its the gulf coast hahaha

howdy sir ecoinstant! thanks for letting me know where you're at, yes I don't really know how Floridians handle all that heat and humidity for so much of the year.

hey how does it compare to the heat and humidity of Columbia?
