Dlive released a new update here.
They now fully support 720p HD and have interactive thumbnails with a preview of the video.
Also from the update post:
All new videos that are uploaded to DLive will be hosted and transcoded on our very own video service. We will be migrating the older videos from IPFS to our video service, no videos will be lost in this transition. With the implementation of our own video service you can expect a better service, with improved quality.

It's these types of development that are pushing my confidence in this blockchain so high and why I continue to invest.
Again, it's not my vlogs or grilling posts that will change the Steem blockchain it's these projects and entrepreneurs with vision that will take it to the next level and add tremendous value to it.
And once all these projects and entrepreneurs can utilize an SMT it will go even faster. (And yes, I am fully aware these things are not out yet, and yes I don't know if they ever will, welcome to world of early investing, I have full faith they will.).
So far it's been wonderful to have seen and to continue to see all the development unfold since I joined this blockchain a little over 2 years ago.
What's also great is the BTC price after the ETF was rejected. It happily spiked back up above $8000 like it didn't care much about it.
Nothing is set in stone but the longer this bottoming out period lasts (since the drop from $20000) the more change there is that we are forming a new bottom.

Did this Dlive update also allowed you to downgrade the quality of video? I don't know if my memory fails me but it used to always show Original quality as the only quality and now I can change it to 360-480 and 720p...
Also you are right, its so exciting to see all these developments and projects releasing and growing here on the Steem blockchain, i'm sure we will see the price skyrocket as soon as the market sentiment turns positive, there's no reason why Steem can't be a top 10 or even top 5 crypto, in fact, Steem has more utility than most of the top 10 cryptos, is crazy how undervalued this blockchain is!

Whether SMT’s come to reality or not (I hope it does), steemit platform will remain here and grow as well. Facewhat earnings disappointed recently, from now on it will keep disappointing and steemit will only be growing.

The bottom price is gone, the boring fase has passed, now it´s a matter of time to the prices to rise a little bit and the FOMO starts hitting the outsiders. A lot will happen in the next months and then we will repeat the process (until BTC hits at least the $1M :D ).

I agree with what you said about the projects and entrepreneurs that will take this blockchain to the next level. The recent DLive update is one of those examples. It’s fun to participate with alongside these projects and also remain invested in Steem. We as content creators do what we can to promote projects here and see them succeed. When we do that, collectively as a whole, the entire community and blockchain is strengthened along with the value of Steem as a token.

I love to see the growth of DLive! It is an awesome tool that keeps getting better. I agree about the usage of a coin should drive the cost up. Many coins do not have the practical value that Steem has. With so many tools being developed using the Steem blockchain at some point it will explode in value. The upswing of BTC is a good sign as well. Minor setbacks to BTC setback the entire market... at some point that could switch once the realization of the value in Steem for example.

@exyle, well, it looks like we are not out of the woods yet regarding a bitcoin etf. It ia possible that BTC price didnt react much because the market is more focused in the CBOE's etf. If that one is not approved, BTC migh roll down noticeably. Of course, I hope the price stays above $8000 :)

I love Steem tbh, but would have been at a much better place had i just held on to the BTC, ETH, LTC and many other big cap coins looking at the returns since early last year.
