Why Don't I Make Daily DLive Streams?

Hello everyone!

I really love streaming on DLive, and try ot do it every day. However, I say try and not do, because I can't stream every day. Even though I want to, why don't I?

Plain and simple, I have other things going on in my life. Pretty much from Thanksgiving up to the middle of March is a busy time for my family. There are a lot of Birthdays, as well as all those holidays. Plus, for some reason, family from far away like to visit this time of year just because they can. There is also a wedding going on in a few weeks, so it will add an anniversary to the mix.

Beyond my family, I have work. I work at a gym type thing, and I work out a lot there too. I really like the people, and probably will never stop working there. I learn a lot from that job, so it's more of a continued education type deal. During March, events ramp up a lot at my work, so I do extra work.

Finally, I have my YouTube channel. I share the videos from there on Steemit sometimes, and I really love the video process on YouTube. I know that we have DTube here, but YouTube is still my favorite video sharing platform. I have to work on videos for it, as I try to upload once a day there.

So, there you have it. I have a lot of projects going on right now that I really enjoy beyond Steemit and DLive, as well as family events. One thing I didn't mention, is that sometimes I just don't feel like streaming. These days I really don't like, because I always regret it afterwards.

I can wholeheartedly relate to your statements here. I was producing videos on YouTube almost daily for like the last 6 months and finally hit the point of total burnout. A lot of times people assume its an easy task to produce content on a daily basis, but the fact is we all have busy lives, and personal lives outside of the web as well.

I remember back last year when Angry Joe said he was going to take a break from content production for a while, and he was immediately met with backlash from the YouTube audience. Ignorant people will make stupid assumptions it seems. Like content creators should be enslaved to their work on the web and work 7 days a week with no days off. Its just ridiculous really.

I'm taking more breaks from the web now myself, as I already did the ridiculous 7 day a week grind on the web for far too long. If you spend to much time on the web, then your life outside of it starts to fall apart. Its just not worth it.

The best way around it is to do stuff in advance. It's still the same work, but spreads it out.

I do feel like only content creators understand the grind, though. I mean, when you don't do something, it's hard to understand it.
