Steemit here I come!!- Juliana Vicente- South African spitfire

Hello Steemit darlings,

It’s so nice to be here. I’ve watched my daughter-in-law (who is my best friend) @bonniepiesse having the time of her life on here, and my fabulous child @markvicente joined recently and is already very enthusiastic.

(@benleemusic darling, I know we haven’t met, but thank you for introducing us all to this fabulous platform)

So let me introduce myself:

My name is Juliana Da Silva Vicente. I was born in Apartheid South Africa (many stories about that to come).

I was named after Queen Juliana of the Netherlands (there is where I got my Queeny-ness from).

I am a free spirit!!! Always searching for goodness! Also questioning the powers that be and why they do what they do (I want us to live in a wonderful world but am often skeptical about the way countries are run)
I love history and feel determined that the world should never forget the Holocaust, which means making the younger generation aware!!

I travelled all over the world, I collected 4 husbands in my life, #3 and #4 was the same man. (Hahahaha my life is colorful)

On my Steemit channel I look forward to sharing posts about the following (and goodness knows what else I come with as I dive into it):

ACTING

I arrived in Los Angeles a year ago (from New York where I’d been living). Just a week after my arrival, I was cast in an Episode of a reality show (Swedish Housewives) and am now famous in Sweden.

RECIPES

I am an excellent cook even if I say so myself. I specialize in South African, Malayan, Indian and Portuguese Cuisine.

ADVICE

I will also give advice for a better life, as I have a LOT of experience (I am 78 years old)

CALIGRAPHY

In my younger days, I was quite a caligrapher and still love it! So much beauty in ones’ own creations. I will share my calligraphy—it was truly the passion of my life (apart from Husband #1)

WINE TIME

I very much like to drink wine, so will make some videos as I’m drinking with whatever is tickling my fancy at the time. I am very funny, so no doubt you’ll have a good laugh with me!!!
