So days later I find out some more news regarding son. Sorry, but not going into detail because after all these are my kids and I’m not trying to put their business out there like that. But it still doesn’t change that this totally took me by surprise. I had to do two takes of this DT. I like doing one takes because it’s more of my raw thought, but this one had me down.
The trek thus far has made me question much of what I thought I knew about the Space. But more importantly, it has reminded me (on a number of occasions) about my human connection to people. The role of a parent is most prominent. After all, I’m doing all of this to build something I can leave to them. Parenting is an interesting balancing act. I have my moments with just two. Just one can make you happy like you never knew, proud beyond words, annoyed by the sight of them, and make you move mountains to see them smile. I wonder how people with more than 2 do it?
The safety bubble doesn’t last forever. This is the reality of being a parent. Now I know this…
