The Story Of Our Memorable First Flight!

@nickskywalker took @karensuestudios and me on a super fun flight over Montreal, Canada! Technically, it wasn't @karensuestudios first flight but rather the first time she ever flew a small plane.

She also literally flew the plane, as in she was the actual pilot or at least seems like she was. I'll let you guys be the judge on this.

I knew @nickskywalker prior to meeting him at Steem Montreal Meetup but it was there that I really got to know him for real, and it was also there that @karensuestudios got to ask him if he could fly us.

All of this would probably not had happened if it wasn't from me meeting @crimsonclad on the 19th and her reminding me @nickskywalker was a pilot and that she might be going on a ride with him.

I feel bad @crimsonclad couldn't be on this flight with us. I should have asked @nickskywalker prior to the meetup if he could take all of us. Sadly @crimsonclad had to leave the day after the meetup and so couldn't get on that plane with us.

Shameless plug here, I invite everyone to take a look at @crimsonclad and her 2 weekly radio shows as they are so exceptionally good! I'm not trying to redeem myself here. Her shows are truly some of my favorite radio shows.

What An Experience!

Okay back to this flight, we took off from Saint-Hubert airport. From where we were flying, we could see most of Montreal. The first 30 seconds or so of the flight was by far the most exhilarating.

And after just a couple of seconds, it felt somewhat normal to find ourselves on a "flying sofa". After a while, @nickskywalkers decided it was time to get us through some breathtaking maneuvres which left us feeling a couple of G's for sure!

@nickskywalker said he fell in love with flying the first time he embarked on a plane. I can totally understand why now. Flying sofas are a bit like cruising sofas or floating sofas except they can take us to much faster speed and allow for a much bigger horizon!

Thanks @karensuestudios and @nickskywalker!

It was awesome to be your passenger!

You guys had plenty of fun, looks a lot like some comedy Asian movie from 1925 😀😀😃

Beautiful you are lucky, it looks amazing experience
Great post from you
Thanks for sharing

That was an awesome moment with both of you @teamsteem @karensuestudios 😎

You guys seem very jubilant and it's uplifting. I spent a large part of the day walking in Montreal from St-Catherine street heading north to the Mile-end part of town. The whole time I was thinking, "man, what a gray, clouded and dreary city!"

It's funny to imagine you guys performing barrel rolls in the blue sky above the clouds while I'm shivering on a cold bench at Parc Laurier.

You encourage me to take a more high-flying angle and perspective on things and cheer up. Thanks for that!

tabarnak de câlisse...

What an incredible adventure!! i'm enjoying watching all the awesome things you are doing with @karenstudios <3

You really are a wonderful binary wish you happiness
Video wonderful and very distinctive

woooow..

nice

I recall my first time in a single engine small airplane. It was some program with that scouts that let us get a little taste of flying. All us kids where “I’m want to do loopy loops,” “let’s go really fast.” Seeing a boat the size of an ant as we flew over a lake was quite surreal. Quite a great experience and something everyone should do once in their lifetime.

Looks like an adventure of a lifetime. Thanks my friend.

Le ciel est la limite!!!

Not anymore 😉

I was thinking the same last night.

The crypto mantra
"To the moon!!"

then Musk came along with Falcon Heavy.

I need to be a little more forward thinking.

So ... Buzz Lightyear

"To Infinity and Beyond!"

I hope you have lots of gas. ;-)

very nice travel story

Wowwww you guyz really had so much fun. Amazing!

Yeay! What an ''uplifting'' adventure hihihihi ;) I'm surprised you guys didn't feel dizzy in the air. Thumbs up for your courage and thanks so much for sharing. My brother-in-law is taking pilot lessons and goes to the St. Hubert airport to fly too. Maybe one day I can hop in for a fly hehe. Cool video and images, you guys were lucky it was a nice day in Montreal, with the yucky weather we've been having. Oh and @teamsteem, NEVER give up your password! hahahaha :P Looking forward to meeting you guys.

Karen felt dizzy a bit. You should totally take that opportunity to fly if it presents itself! That was a great experience!

Yeah, I can only imagine! Actually, I would like to try it out, but of course I will wait to get the baby out of the belly first :P

You guys sure know how to have fun! That’s what steemit is all about! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Looks like you three had lots of fun! I would be scared to go in small airplane like that, despite the fact that flying is actually safer than driving. :0)

Hello @teamsteem

Lol😂. This must be a memorable outing for all of you and particularly @kerensuestudios since it was her first of flying small aircraft.

I knew @nickskywalker prior to meeting him at Steem Montreal Meetup but it was there that I really got to know him for real, and it was also there that @karensuestudios got to ask him if he could fly us.

This passage is a great reminder to all of us on the importance of attending steem meetups; getting to know one another and building a great relations is one thing with meetups that's priceless.

Happy for you guys.
