Hey, Dlive & Steemit! It's been a few days but I've got something fresh! Today's video is "How I become a Videographer" It pretty much talks about how I started getting into the business and how I've been able to keep myself afloat, years after dorm rooms and meal plans.
If you're looking for a video about #HowTo become a videographer yourself, this might just be the one. My methods may be a bit "unorthodox" at times, but that's totally subjective to the viewer.
I thought you might enjoy some photos from some of my projects over the last year.
Tip - The More The Merrier
I like to have a fellow photographer/friend with artistic vision handle a second camera and take photos while I do the filming. I also take a bulk of the event photos, but just a tip, never bad to have another camera rolling. Also, this makes for great B-roll footage.
Tip - Stay Clear
One of the perks of being a videographer is getting backtage access/ stage access, vip, behind the bar, you name it, but one thing is key...get out of the way! Seriously, move. Swoop in for your shot, or take it from a far if you've still got the angle, but get out of the way. Performers may not say to your face, but you'll be thanked a lot more afterward if you manage to find a good space balance.
