Gringo (documentary) The John Macafee Story from Showtime - Thoughts?

in documentary •  8 years ago  (edited)

So, I've been a pretty big Macafee supporter.  I always like the 'odd balls'.  When he joined the presidential election, I liked his boldness, and his stance on freedom.

...then I watched Gringo on Netflix and I have to say, it was pretty riveting. I'm also subscribed to John's Youtube channel and he challenged the documentary.  He even has videos of those who on Gringo, accused him of many things, have now changed there tune. When I watch the recants, I have to wonder if they're scared for their lives or if they have been paid a larger sum to deny the accusations.

Another thing that really sealed the deal for me was seeing John try to disguise himself as someone else, and having the mentality he has succeeded in fooling people. It just tells me he's got a few screws loose.

I've also been studying a little about our microexpressions when we lie.  It's rather telling to see those expressions non congruent with what is being said, yet most of the accusations seem congruent with what they're saying. I'm not saying he committed a murder or not, but the rape accusation does look congruent.

Has anyone else seen the documentary? If not, it's a must! Please, leave your comments below about it all!
