I have no idea what he did or didn't. But his case is quite annoying in the sense of all the side noise, I mean, spyware, team members smearing and co. That's not acceptable.

But again I have no idea what really happen and neither the time to read now more about it.

However it inspires me a question...

the impact of war of the american soliders.

I mean, it's not good. Specially, those type of mission... I am sorry but SF shouldn't be doing patrols...

By this I mean, that "patrol" in hostile territory are quite a very specific and hard task that SF shouldn't be doing because of their length and toll on the psyche.

In the sense that SF should be more focused and objective driven, take this guy out, breach etc, rather than the slow and continuous pressure of ieds, surprise attacks and all the population melding that quick rotation would prevent. In the sense that ground troops spending a few weeks / months in a specific area, relaying on previous tourer can bring more awareness and support back to the base than the more agile way could.

What I am trying to say is that SF will not have what it takes to do those kind of jobs well.

Then again, I don't know the context, he could have gone sick, but it's not because it's an infant, an elderly or woman that it ain't a threat, presumed hostile, armed and strapped. On the other hand, and that's my point I don't exclude that too much too bear, can have dramatic impact and that those targets were in reality innocents, non hostile and cleared and it was a case of loss of consciousness... And that has to be punished but I think it's too a medical issue and collective responsibility. I think there is no way to make war acceptable. And that sooner or later it will go wrong. As such, patrols... what the fuck is that... or resaid, defending the forward operation basis, great... nation building... impossible. they want america or they don't. And if they want they will fight for it, and if they don't there is no hope to make them change their minds...

but again, splash it, done. flag it for political reason... so go, move, defend the move, flag, defend the retreat, leave... rinse and repeat...

And I bet you, concerning for example Irak of afg... that if after the 3 weeks of combats everyone left... let's say 10 days, it would have been possible to return 20 days later, move, defend the move, flag it, retreat, defend it, leave and rinse and repeat... at the 10 times, they would have surrendered... asked for it !!!

because this is so brutal and safe, psychologically and physically... action, retreat, break, action, retreat, break... with all guns blazing at each way... and that's the worst for the opponents, because they survive the first wave, say they will be patriot at the second, are flashed, next round of survivors. they say... next round, until they say nothing anymore....

and that's why japan or germany was successful... nuked, burned, ashed, retreat to berlin with kids, no hope, no will... ready to talk, the surrender mentality.

ahahha ncis... is there the afghan girl or the techies? hahah. that remind me the movie about honduras or such... this is always bad situation... :).
