This is the second episode in the "Around The World" series. And it's all about dogs!
You might have dogs yourselves or may have seen your neighbours dogs and you might have wondered what other dogs around the world would look like. Let's go on a ride across the world, seeing what dogs from other countries look like. Don't worry I won't bore you too much, that's why I made this a 5-minute read. Let's go!
India's Rajapalayam Dog
The Rajapalayam dogs are large dogs that weigh up to 45 kilos and mostly found in Tamil Nadu, India. It is very skilled at hunting and can be used independent of the hunter. What makes it unique is its ability to hunt using sight and smell. They don't give up easily when chasing their target.

Italy's Volpino Italiano
The Volpino is a lively, small Spitz-type breed from Italy. Energetic and affectionate, it is a very playful and friendly companion. Volpinos love activity and It's body width is almost the same as its height, making it look square like.

Africa's Basenji
The local dogs in Nigeria are closely related to the Basenjis. This small breed, with erect ears and a curled tail, belongs to the Asian Spitz group. They are native to Central Africa. Basenjis do not bark, instead they make a howling sound like that of wolves.

USA's Boston Terriers
The Boston Terriers are compact dogs with square-like heads that are native to the United States. They are very friendly and can be easily trained. They have a merry personality that makes them easy to care for, making them perfect companions.

The Australian Kelpies are vibrant and energetic dogs that do not like to be kept bored. They are very intelligent and can be trained easily. They require a lot of mental stimulation and exercise.

Argentina's Dogo Argentino
The Dogo Argentino is a large dog originating from Argentina. It is primarily kept for hunting purposes and is used occasionally in police and military work. It has a very remarkable sense of smell and good stamina.

Japan's Shiba Inu
The Shiba Inu is a very popular breed of hunting dogs from Japan. They are known for their independence. You may have seen this dog in Dogecoin and Shiba coin (SHIB). The Shiba Inu inspired these popular cryptocurrency, which first started as memes but soon gained popularity.

Fun fact: When anxious due to insufficient activity, these dogs can make loud noises known as the "Shiba Scream."
Germany's Dachshund
The Dachshund or the badger dog is a long bodied dog that comes in a variety of colours and is known for their ability to hunt smaller animals. They are remarkably stubborn animals and adamantly insist on going their own way. They can get really aggressive and be difficult to train.
