Here at TAP we are strong advocates of the good stuff about rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming dogs.
For starters, a ‘rescue’ is only a ‘rescue’ if you saved a dog from being eaten by a lion... ...or if you adopted a puppy from death row.
‘Rehab’ is only ‘rehab’ if you spent 30 minutes every day doing physio therapy on physically disabled dogs... ...or if you spent 30 minutes every day leash-walking your dog.
A ‘rehome’ is a ‘rehome’ if you keep having to find a new home for a dog every other week because it has behaviour issues... ...or if you devoted your time to getting to know a dog and it’s personality as well as that of its potential adoptees so you will always find the perfect match.
Last but not least, we want you to adopt a dog not because HE needs a home, but because you need one...right where his heart beats for you every day.
