I picked the two I've actually seen in person, and would add the Temples of the Sun and Moon outside of Mexico City are incredible feats of construction and engineering, too, especially since they rival the largest pyramids in Egypt.

I suppose there are many amazing structures throughout the world. The ones that make you wonder how such a thing was possible, especially when they were erected, are the best. The ones that make you question how ancient man could manage such grandeur when we're not exactly creating such wonders ourselves due to many factors, cost being the main issue.

Supposedly, there's already $300 million dedicated to rebuilding Notre Dame, and the mayor wants it done within five years. It will be amazing if that happens, I think. :)

I wanted to see Notre Dame this year :(

Yeah. That's very sad. Lots of people are mourning that loss. Fortunately, though, it sounds like plenty of people are stepping up to donate to getting it rebuilt. I know that's not the same, but maybe they can come close. I know in some restorations, they even went as far to use wood and tools and techniques that were used long time ago. Who knows what they'll do here. I guess it won't be done this year, though. :) Still, it wouldn't hurt to go by there.

KFC buildings, not kidding here, they look great, and give me that good finger licking chicken feeling every time I see one.

Very difficult choice.
