Is man to blame for the rapid climate change on Earth?

  • No. The climate is changing because it is such a period in the history of the planet

Even if we are responsible for climate change, global warming/cooling, and I don't believe we are, there's very little we can do about it, even if somehow we could all of as sudden convert all of our fossil fuel based operations to some form of clean energy.

I believe that natural factors, including the suns own activity, and how the Earth reacts to it, has far more to do with any rapid heating or cooling than anything we've done. Does that mean man isn't responsible for pollution or other harmful activities? No. We do damage to a lot of things. But this kind of heating and cooling was happening way before man became industrialized, and it will continue to happen regardless of what we do.
