ENG - I love the old "spaghetti western". Those who have launched the career of Clint Eastwood. Wild landscapes, bizarre characters, adventures. The shots especially and the long silences. You can hear them, those silences!
They tried and tried but the "modern" westerns are not the same thing for me! Some nice stories, but they do not have that "magic". May be the direction of Sergio Leone or the soundtrack of Ennio Morricone. Let's also put the very first plans on the (in)expressive eyes of Eastwood.
In short, they were really something special!
I leave you with this design, inspired by the old West.
ITA - Adoro i vecchi "spaghetti western". Quelli che hanno lanciato la carriera di un certo Clint Eastwood. I paesaggi selvaggi, i personaggi bizzarri, le avventure. Le inquadrature soprattutto e i lunghi silenzi. Puoi sentirli, quei silenzi!
Ci hanno provato e provato ma i western "moderni" non sono la stessa cosa secondo me! Belle storie alcune, ma non hanno quella "magia". Vuoi la regia di Sergio Leone, vuoi la colonna sonora di Ennio Morricone. Mettiamoci anche i primissimi piani sugli occhi (in)espressivi di Eastwood.
Vi lascio con questo disegno, ispirato al vecchio West.
