I am currently having a student for an intensive individual art class. Today I am teaching her drawing at the Nature History Museum in Vienna. It is one of the most beautiful buildings. You will find some photos from the building at the end of the post.
I believe teaching art has to be done not only with talking but also with hands on showing and explaining.
Here is the first example drawing I did for my student today. It is a wild sheep (Genus Ovis), local to the mountains in Eurasia & North America.
Here you will see some of the steps.
Smiles and colorful greetings from the museum.
Thank you for your comments & upvotes.
With live & light.

Very well done, i am more impressed by how fast you finished this drawing! It would take me much longer considering i havent drawn in years.
I really like it! Thanks for sharing and keep up the talented work! Pretty cool Museum too. Looking forward for more posts.

Hello, I am sorry for the late reply. On that day I did 3 such drawings;) in the museum and corrected 2 of my student. I have been teaching every day a private class this week, which finished yesterday, so somehow I have missed your nice comment. The speed comes from the amount of work one has invested. It is the same as playing a musical instrument. The more you do it, the faster it gets;))). I will check your blog now and follow you.
