He's a digital creep...he's a digital creep...he's a digital creep...when he's stooooned.... (Sorry, had a little bit of an early '90's flashback there.)

Anyway, this little monster was created as a digital drawing on my phone using a freeware sketch application. I've always liked monsters, and I can remember drawing them as far back as the early 1970's when I was just a kid. (Weird, eh? A KID who draws monsters!?! Who ever heard of such a thing?) Luckily for me, I never gave it up---although it could also be argued that I never really got any BETTER at it, but that's cool. I'm not trying to be a commercial artist or sell shoes or work for some big animation studio, just make myself laugh and give a few other people a reason to smile!

With this creep, and a few of the other monsters I've drawn recently, I've also been experimenting with a specific "brush" in my app that lets me, basically, paint in blocky, 8-bit chunks. The monster's head and body are based on the kinds of creatures players might have seen while blasting away at an old Atari or Intellivision game, or maybe something from the era when Gorf and Space Invaders dominated the arcardes! I took some liberties with the face and fingers, (using a thinner, scratchier line,) but what the heck, it's my game, and I can play it however I want to, right???

Thanks for playing along!
