Einar's Dream Log - The Beast In Me

There is an old pirate ship parked in water in front of my little shack, that is on a beach in some cold country. There are alot of trees around the house, a forest even. Me and a girl and some more friends are on this old boat and it's a full moon. The moon is huge and shines it's powerful light on everything we see. The girl urges me not to look at the moon, all she says is "Do not look at the moon, Einar! Whatever you do, do not look at the moon! Just run, run as fast as you can to your house and close the door! I trust you!".

I start running, trying with all my strength not to look at the moon. I feel it pulling my face towards it, I feel the moonlight shining brightly on me. It is laughing at me, calling me, teasing me... I manage to mostly pull away from the sight of it but my eyes meet with it a few times for just an instant. I feel a raging roar growing inside me, wanting to burst out but I keep it in. I feel myself physically changing as I run towards my little shack, fighting against the beast that needs to be free. Eventually, I get to the door of my house, pull it open, run inside and slam it shut. I'm breathing in relief. It is over. I am safe.

No lucid dreaming occurred during this dream.
