Demons and monsters in inner and outer dimensions - nightmares explained

in dreams •  7 years ago

Excerpt: Many of you have nightmares which startle you, for a good reason. The ego is afraid and it's very difficult to control it during the dream state. In this post, I am explaining the correlation between the psychological structure of your whole self, that are your aspects, and the inner encounters in your dreams. Those who so frighten you are mere aspects, past/future lifetimes of yours, who want to reconnect with you. The sooner you recognize that, the easier it is to release the nightmares and the drama from your life. Towards the end of the post, I am dedicating a few words to extra-ordinary journies to other dimensions. You may want to remember the bottom line - you are safe in the vast arrays of the outer and inner universes. Do not doubt it.

It can be said with much certainty that every person had, has or will have at least one nightmare during their lifetime. One in which they encounter an animal/beast or another person/artificial entity whom, by their presence or activities, pose a threat towards the dreamer. Actually, it is more accurate to say that the dreamer's ego interprets the entity's behavior as a threat and hence entice emotions of fear or horror. This is what happens in a typical nightmare of the average person* [see also my comment at the end].

In most cases, a nightmare lasts for a short period of time. The personality (Ego) perceives the dream-encounter as an enormous threat towards its integrity/identity and consequently, out of fear for its survival, it awakens the dreamer and pulls them out from the "dangerous" environment. Such escape deprives one of directly dealing with their unaware-of psychic components.

As much as it may seem irrational, nightmares should be welcomed, for the demons that we meet in the dream state are not "real" demons. They are not the dark forces, the evil spirits, who desire to eat us/kill us/enslave us. The latter fault conceptions are merely the results of indoctrination that has been cast upon us since childhood by various social agents (parents, school, media, etc).

There is nothing out there

In order to understand the true nature of the demonic and monstrous entities that we usually meet during our dream journeys you must recall a very basic principle of the reality, any reality – there is nothing out there but yourself. Everything is, in some way, a reflection of your own identity.

Therefore, the demons are psychic aspects of your own soul-self. On your spiritual journey, you have chosen to integrate the various parts of your whole self – dark and light alike – and the dream arena is an appropriate venue to encounter what otherwise would not be accessible to you in your normal and regular daily routine. Those aspects only want one thing – to be accepted. In another word, they want your love.

How to work with your demons?

Only a personality that feels safe in its 3D reality will allow itself to remain in the midst of the nightmare and transform it. That means that people who choose to detach themselves from the living experience (for example by the use of drugs, medicine or even intense meditation) ultimately would lose their feeling of security and would not be able to successfully handle those demonic encounters.

What happens there?

A dark aspect does not have to disguise itself as Darth Vader or a mysterious black smoke (for those of you who are familiar with "Star-wars" and "Lost") to evoke fright and horror within you while dreaming. In fact, most of my encounters with the dark aspects of my soul were meetings with fragments that looked like regular human beings.

In time the ego feels strong and secured enough not to run away but to remain in the dream event. A wise thing to do then will be to show the dark aspect "who the boss is". If you have a mantra that you use to state your "I AM-ness" then don't be shy to shout it out loud. The fear will lessen. Then you may want to address the dark aspect directly. Ask it - "what do you want from me?" and in most cases, it will answer "love" or will do something to appease you.

In one of my encounters, I came across a beast-dog who felt to be hostile. I didn't lose my senses and asked to befriend with that entity. The moment later that frightening dog was licking my face.

I won't lie to you. It's not so much fun to consciously meet a frightening entity in a dream state. The good news is that you will not be aware of such encounters before your personality is ready for that. The even better news is that once you successfully (and you will!) handle and master your dark aspects there are very few happenings, if any at all, in the 3D reality that can throw you out of balance and away from your peace of heart. It's not that you become indifferent or detached from life. It's the inner feelings of security, trust and well being that you now possess which surpass any potential shaky event in your earthly life.

Outer demons

In conclusion, here is a thought for you – since the physical reality is founded and anchored and springs from a vaster reality of energy, could it be that the people in your 3D life – your family, friends, neighbors, colleagues, lovers, and strangers – are also reflections of your aspects? And if so, what does it say about the people whose company you find irritating/fearful/bothering? Could it be that the dark entities from your dream state who merely wish to be accepted and loved by you, also manifest in your 3D reality through certain people in your life?

And what does all that mean about the choices you make regarding those people?

The average person Vs. Carlos Castaneda's reportages

Carlos castaneda was a great traveler and he made a good service to us by reporting about his adventures. The problem, which in my opinion eventually led to his death, was the fact he used drugs to alter his consciousness. As I wrote, drugs or any forced artificial method, do not allow the Ego independently develop, in a natural way, a solid identity, one that ultimately would allow the person to travel deeper and in a stable manner.

Castaneda did meet with other aspects of himself but also experienced encounters with foreign consciousnesses that resided in the dimensions he visited. Such un-natural trips may be dangerous. But do not fear. As I wrote, if you allow the natural process of your spiritual and psychic development your journies are safe. you are safe!

Therefore, when I wrote above "the average person" I referred to someone who doesn't force its psyche to be altered. Similarly, I didn't refer to exceptional individuals who have mastered the art of inner traveling. The latter are able to freely stroll in other dimensions and meet other creatures and entities otherwise than themselves. Needless to say that in their case the journies are safe and well balanced.

I had nightmares in my “past”. I can’t tell how this nightmare looks like, I never saw it. I guess I can leave it to anyone’s imagination. All I know it was really scary. When it all started I was so afraid 😱. I remember trying to scream, trying to open my eyes. It felt like it was pulling me back to my dream to make me afraid more and more. I could hear its breath. I could feel it pulling my legs. I could feel it’s presence...

In most cases, a nightmare lasts for a short period of time.

I agree! In my childhood I hade even more than one in one night.

A wise thing to do then will be to show the dark aspect "who the boss is"

At the beginning I didn’t know I could fight it, that I could do something to stop it. One night I woke up after this nightmare, it was too hot so I opened the window. For someone it could be laughable, but I realized it worked. Since then, I slept with my window opened. When I forgot to open the window, it came back. But I finally knew how to fight it. Then my faith started to grow and I also learned how to fight it by not being afraid of it. And that was the breaking point. I’m not afraid of it anymore, because I know it can’t hurt me, because I have a faith. Since than I haven’t had any nightmares at all.
BTW: I have never used any drugs. I completely understand your point what drugs can do when it comes to subconscious and nightmares.

... there is nothing out there but yourself.

It is questionable. You might be right. But I don’t ask these questions. In my childhood I remember my favorite movie where man had interesting conversation with this women. She said she doesn’t believe in God. He asked he “why?”, she said “because I didn’t see him”, his answer was “I didn’t see your p...y either and I still believe it exists”. I will leave this one word to your imagination, I don’t want to be impolite 😆. My point is, just because you didn’t see it, it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exists. On top of it all, If I didn’t experience things I did, I would believe there is nothing out there, I would have my doubts. But so much in my life has happened (physically as well) when it comes to my faith, that it’s really impossible not to believe there is evil and than there is God. There are very smart people like you saying “there is nothing out there” and there are very smart people saying the opposite. I don’t judge or say “yes you are right, because you are very smart”. If my real life experience says otherwise, I have a huge respect for you, but that doesn’t mean I must agree.

I didn’t see your p...y either and I still believe it exists”

A pussy is a kitten. 😎

About the there's nothing out there but yourself, I should have elaborated. The inner universe is packed with entities and souls. I was referring to the early stages of the spiritual awakening of the person, or even before that, when the mind begins to open up to other realities and encounter so called dark entities. They are false and merely aspects of one. Beyond that, there are infinite souls and soul-less fragments of consciousness for us to explore.

Since then, I slept with my window opened.

A possible explanation is this - when sleeping with a closed window the level of oxygen is diminishing. Your physical sleeping body noticed that, sent an alert to your mind which interpreted the lack of oxygen as a threat to your survival. That threat was then interpreted by your mind literally and it came up with a scene of someone trying to kill you, hoping that it would be frightening enough to wake you up, so you could breath and be saved. When you began sleeping with an open window the oxygen-hazardous was gone and there wad no need for nightmares to wake you up. 🙂 There were no dark entities chasing you. Sorry to spoil the drama. :)

when sleeping with a closed window the level of oxygen is diminishing.

Wow!

I feel that even at my age I have not had nightmares, at least not so significant as to remember them, I do not know if this is all good or bad, however I can understand that in my 3D reality can also present characters that can be a nightmare, I would like to quote a small paragraph from your publication, which calls my attention:

The even better news is that once you successfully (and successfully!) manage and master your dark aspects, there are very few, if any, events in 3D reality that can unbalance you and take your peace away from your heart. Not that you become indifferent or detached from life. It is the inner feelings of security, trust and well-being that you now possess that surpass any possible unstable events in your earthly life.

These inner feelings of security, trust and well-being are linked to my ego? How can I strengthen my ego in order to prevent it from escaping from my nightmares or better yet, from facing them? or can that be dangerous? Although I have not had nightmares, I feel that in reality certain things pursue me that I need to handle safely and confidently in order to achieve the necessary balance and peace in my life.

I am making some changes to my account and will announce them tomorrow; Stay tuned to see how you can benefit from it.

As a loyal follower I just hope you do not stop sharing your valuable contributions with us, somehow we benefit every day from you, I thank you from the bottom of my heart, a hug friend

How can I strengthen my ego

The ego is good for one thing, to collect data and information. The problems begin when we assign to it the task of making decisions. The ego is not capable to making decisions!
Therefore, the first step is to relax the ego and reassures it that you don't expect it to make decisions. Only to bring you info, so you can decide then what steps to take.
Let's use an example - a friend tells you that she saw your boyfriend kissing another woman. Your ego brings this info to you through the senses. Normally, at this point its role should have ended. But you might get jealous, upset, angry and immediately decide to call your boyfriend, confront him and end the relationship. A balanced ego would step aside to make room for you to make the decision. This wiser you feels your bf's love, trust him, but mostly feel secured in your identity. Therefore, you don't jump into conclusions, and you wait until you speak with your bf who tells you that he met his sister and kissed her. 😊

For the night times, tell yourself before falling to sleep "I am safe, I am secured". And Repeat this several times with conviction. Your mind will remember this when encountering a scary situation.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart, a hug friend

🙏

I already have several tasks assigned to me! Thank you, David

Hello, you know that a few months ago a nightmare has bothered me and frightened me.

It is about that I was in my room, where I have a blackboard and my girlfriend wrote "Maybe I am your blue unicorn" that refers to a song by Silvio Rodriguez where he talks about a hope or an idealization that has been lost and he does everything to find it.

In the dream, I went into my room was all the blackboard crossed out and written in red "Maybe she is NOT your dulcinea" when reading this I got a panic and I wanted to escape, but the door was gone, I was trapped and in the wall appeared more written than I really do not remember.

I hope you have a moment to read it.

here is the lyrics of the song translated:
https://lyricstranslate.com/es/mi-unicornio-azul-my-blue-unicorn.html

Great dream!
It's exactly what I was writing - the aspect within you that is doubtful, does not believe that you deserve to be loved, to have a girlfriend, is coming in your dream. Now you need to decide, who is in control, who is the master?!

Very good article.

"Those who so frighten you are mere aspects, past/future lifetimes of yours, who want to reconnect with you. "

Exactly the way I have been experiencing it. There are several ones which come here and then, yet as you said, we are only aware of them when we are ready for it, otherwise we would definitely become traumatized by them. We can become true experts in discerning the energy composition of that "demon", for sometimes you literally feel the "dark" force trying to get access into your mind and Astral body to spread the fear. Those feasibly dark entity encounters expand our threshold of what we are capable of dealing with ease thereafter. So any less dark entities will be no-brainers then, and sometimes I tell them how boring it is how boring it is to always resort to the same fear-mongering techniques. They might cause me some scare for a second or even minute, but in actuality I know that nothing can happen.

Just recently I was ending up on place in the dream state where I found myself saying "I have the strong feeling that I'll visit this place several times in my next lifetime", and the energy of that place was rather spooky. So now already my subconscious prepares for this future lifetime event so that when it is there the root of fear will have already been dismantled, hence the fear cannot take possession of me.

So now already my subconscious prepares for this future lifetime event

The funny, and encouraging, thing is that the future is now 🙂
Thanks for the sharing!

I agree! An expanding now moment ;)

That's crazy, I had a recurring nightmare involving Satan as a kid too, and I also came from a religious family where I was not allowed to watch horror flicks. In mine this horned figure was riding around our town in a chariot, I could see it through the window, but everyone else seemed oblivious. I had the intense feeling he was looking for me, freaked me out for hours after I woke. And I also had other recurring dreams, though some were good like practicing flying :)

Cool post man, thanks for sharing.

Indeed,
And that "satan" figure was not real. Just a bogus entity, weak and with no power at all.

@nomad-magus I really appreciate efforts you have put in compiling this article. It has now given me a new view about frightening encounters which I have experienced in the dream world. While I was a kid, I was told to pray against those frightening encounters because if I don't something bad might happen to me. And instead of embracing this part of me, I denied myself that part. But now, I will try to change my beliefs and see how things will go. Thanks for sharing.

👍

Thanks @nomad-magus for the beautiful message night mares are real hell but it takes you to have the spirit of revelation in your dreams for you to stand still and ask the beastly thing what it wants but with out relevation most of us just run around as it chases you although such dreams are not good they indicate the evil spirits that are following your life . By the way am looking forward to the changes and since you made the announcement have been alerting my friends that follow you ...

I think we must first Check what things are causing these demonic nightmares. Are these because of the scare horror movies we watch or these are because of the oppression we face because of the social agents as you mentioned.
We people should avoid fighting it, because it's almost impossible to win demons. Also, learn more about the dream. Once we realize it is a dream, we can literally face it. We can talk to it. We can ask “why?” and also we can say I do not want to see you anymore. It is our mind and our dream and I guarantee you that you are stronger than any other thing in your own mind.

< think we must first Check what things are causing these demonic nightmares.

It's a natural progression of your spiritual growth. Like you meet not nice people in your waking reality.

really a nightmare experience is something we are most worried about in life. because the nightmare still feels until we are awake. but in this story you tell it very clearly and thoroughly.
but there is one confusion for me about nightmares associated with real life. one example when we dream of broken teeth then one of our family will be struck disaster, or also when we dream in snake bite, then we will experience bad luck. how do you think @nomad-magus. have you ever heard the same thing as I heard.

No.
In my experience, teeth and snakes mostly interpreted differently. I will publish posts about these two symbols soon.
Nevertheless, remember that often the mind uses recognized symbols. So if you were taught that snakes means bad luck, you may use it. OR, you can change the association.

I also do not really believe it. but I also dare not tell it. because a dream like that if here is said. do not tell anyone else if you experience it.

@nomad-magus you are a very consistent and very thorough writer in each of your writing. do you have more time to teach me to be better at writing

The last dream is a few months ago I entered a very grand kingdom and I met with crabs of crab (shaped like a crab) with a luminous crown on his head, I then asked Allah a ShotGun weapon and I fired on the king of jin it (wearing the mustika is usually the jinn's king) until my shot is right about his body but the genie is immune and when I begin to aim the shot into the mustika above his jin-shining head it runs away, and I wake up from sleep.

Cool.
Reminds me of a video game.

maybe you are right, like a video game. a bit of my latest post in poverty, if the teacher does not mind visiting my bloq, to the question

HOW POVERTY IN THE COUNTRY COULD BE VERY LARGE WHILE, THE GRACE OF NATURAL WEALTH OF THIS COUNTRY IS VERY ABUNDANT ??

https://www.steemit.com/poverty/@wiralhokseumawe/how-poverty-in-the-country-could-be-very-large-while-the-grace-of-natural-wealth-of-this-country-is-very-abundant-445ba6ebc2395
Thanks for this my teacher @nomad-magus

Some scientists say that demons are four in dimension.
That's why we can't see them but they can see us. Nightmare is completely from our mind. But some say it has also some relation with demons.
But man can't imagine something what he didn't watch. Suppose we saw human and fish both. We can made a character like marmaid. No one imagine what he didn't see any more.

To me nightmares seem to be daily bread. But most of the times I dream about the girl that I think my boyfriend likes. I always see us fighting and exchanging a lot of words. I usually wake up with so much bitterness in me and am I sick and tired of these dreams because they keep coming to me one after another day in day out.
At first I told myself, that may be this particular girl is doing witch craft on me. But after reading this post, I somehow feel different. If night mares are a true reflection of your other side of the soul then it must be the reason I dream about her.
My other self makes me see her in my dreams all the time because honestly speaking even during day time she occupies my mind so probably the other part of my soul roams around thinking about her even in the night.
Thanks @nomad- magus for these constant dream topics. I now see and interpret dreams differently.

Hi, to your question, yeah, I already thought about it anyway :)

Most people think ghosts and monsters in dreams are nightmares. Unless you become frightened, it’s not really a nightmare. You have to have some physical symptoms like sweating, talking in your sleep and some movements, like reaching out or kicking, to qualify as a nightmare. If you wake up–gasping for breath–with a pounding heart, then it’s a nightmare (actually a night terror). If you wake up and think, “Wicked dream!,” it’s not a nightmare. I’ve added in a few supernatural and ghost-inspired dream items, too. In most cases, there’s nothing to fear about a scary dream. I did mark the truly paranormal dream elements in red.

by my personal opinion

nihgtmare is come when we struggle with our mind.
it is because of the inner demon..when we feel depressive ,
then our mind is so think different thing ,,and its created different
thing between real life and imaginary life,,its wrong to think about ghosts and monsters as nightmare,,nightmare is come when we feel physically unstable about different things,
dear @nomad-magus sir

Dream is a sleeping flower, sometimes a dream comes true it is a dream of an angel,
And that frightening dream is the temptation of the devil that wants to interfere with our lives ..

Nightmares are the group of disturbing dreams that a person sees during his sleep, which is common among most people and passes through the person from time to time, but if it is inherent to him here must be looking for the cause with the use of a psychiatrist on the one hand and the Koranic treatment on the one hand Others, because most of the disturbing dreams are the source of either health problems in the stomach or intestines, dyspepsia and the like, or because of psychological disorders and problems in the daily life are formed on the scene of disturbing dreams, ultimately cause permanent insomnia sleep, which ultimately comes to the person With health and psychological problems. Most nightmares may be associated with about 10% of young children, especially in the 6 to 8 year age group, where the child experiences repeated unpleasant dreams, with the possibility of remembering them after waking up, making the child another obstacle to sleep. Because he continues to remember the terrible and disturbing atmosphere that he saw during his dream is during this age has a strong memory capable of recording the details of the dream accurately Dom forget any information seen during the dream, and with the passage of years begins the psychological development and social child and the rate of disturbing dreams that pass in sleep add To change the strength of its impact On the large child and the different manner of dealing with it. Causes of nightmares The quality of food eaten by the person before sleep: As eating (hot food), which contains spices and hot spices before sleep adversely affect the quality of sleep and deprives the individual to enjoy a comfortable sleep that night, experts explain that hot foods before bedtime working on Raising the body temperature during sleep, which makes the person uncomfortable and presents him either to night insomnia, difficulty getting into a deep sleep or make him tense in his dream because of the many disturbing dreams during sleep.

The topic that you talked about will really play a very important role for the community and you are presenting every subject in a wonderful way. You have discussed the society here, and every one of your discussions has a lot of good content, I think we should work on this matter. If so, then it is possible to improve.

Nightmares are bad dreams, sometimes alive, that often make you wake up.
Once awakened from a nightmare, you may have trouble getting back to sleep, either due to additional anxiety or as part of a larger, broken sleep problem.

The word nightmare comes from the ancient English folklore " Mare ", a demon that torments its victims with bad dreams.

Nightmares are common, especially in young children, although it also occurs in adults. They are completely normal and can appear and disappear in time. Nightmares only become a problem when they are frequent. The official medical term for frequent recurring nightmares is the nightmarish disorder.

The nightmare is that it is a sign of "people who are in love with gambling.

really that you say @ nomad-mag .. the dream is not in the dark place aja, still in the light we can dream also jugak, this dream is what we make ourselves everyday must exist in our dream all, even though probably not the same still most of it is true.

Hy @nomad-magus
It seems to me ... a dream is the flower bed. ... Every dream is a blend of biological instincts, assumptions of cultural and personal experience. A lot of the science that claims to be able to interpret the secret dream, but dreams can be defined scientifically through the science of psychological or psychiatric. The dream has become something that's confusing for mankind since the beginning of civilization to the present. The brain also plays a role in dream happened ranging from elaborate to simple dreams.

Wow!!!
That's a cool article..
Demons and monsters have dimensional phasor..i like it and searched it..
Awesome..
THANKS FOR SHARING..
@UPVOTED

Most nightmares are a normal reaction to stress, and some clinicians believe they help people work through traumatic events. Frequent occurrence of nightmares, however, becomes a disorder when it impairs social, occupational, and other important areas of functioning. At this point, it may be referred to as Nightmare Disorder (formerly Dream Anxiety Disorder) or "repeated nightmares," which is a term defined more specifically as a series of nightmares with a recurring theme.
Nightmares, which tend to be more common in girls than boys, usually begin in childhood before age 10 and are considered normal unless they significantly interfere with sleep, development, or psychosocial development. They may continue into adulthood where they are often associated with outside stressors, anxiety, or trauma. They may also exist alongside another mental disorder.

Dreams inspire everyone to stay alive and the topics you have discussed are really very extraordinary and very comprehensive content. I think we have to be aware of these issues and we have to acquire the right knowledge about these issues and you are very naturally genuine Contents presented.

@ nomad-mag I just dreamed in chase "the same ghost, why my feet can not move sikitpun when I'm in the race" the same ghost. a very strange dream

the split between the psychic and the dependable medication. I have studied it is actually not much different. What mebedakan is that relying on drugs can result in fatal.all what is done is not useful at all.benyak symptoms are felt rather than a natural person. so the conclusion is not once to do that is fatal. do things better and be useful for yourself.

Thank you for your wonderful words, some life situations are best handled with proper understanding, and I think that's what you are trying to feed us with.

I love the way you relate the physical realm to the spirit realm, but I think, it is more easier to control the physical than the spiritual since the five senses are active in the physical and not in the spiritual realm.

And what does all that mean about the choices you make regarding those people?

I tried to highlight that short statement from your conclusion for a purpose.

I don't have question about how to make choices as regard the physical, but how do we make those choices in the dream?
How do we gain the consciousness to ask those questions? Please share more light on that.

The most common causes of nightmares are stress and anxiety. If you are stressed before you sleep, your body tends to relieve any pressure you feel through bad dreams. Anxiety, on the other hand, makes you face your greatest fears while asleep. For example, if you are afraid of heights, you could dream about being stuck on top of a high building where the only option is to jump in order to get down.
Certain activities that you do prior to sleeping may also be a cause for nightmares. Watching horror films and reading suspense novels may make your mind remember some striking scenes which scared you the most. As you go to sleep, your memory plays these scenes in your mind, thus, causing you to have a really bad dream.
