Hi Friends,
I wanted to try something different with my Hennessy cognac so I attempted a cognac old fashioned. Here is how it came out:
I followed a basic recipe I found online which was one 2 ounces of Hennessy, .75 ounces of simple syrup and a couple dashes of bitters.
I thought the drink came out well, but was much sweeter than a whiskey or bourbon old fashioned, which is what I am used to. It was still good, and makes a good night cap drink or after dinner drink.
Thanks for coming by,
Brian
Enjoy together with three friends. This night has just become beautiful.
