I want it, I do not want it, I want it, I do not want it ... Stop popping the Margarita and ask for this drink at the first opportunity that comes your way.
Created supposedly in 1946 by Margarita Sames at a cocktail party in Acapulco, its ingredients represent the main cultures that have been present in Mexico: the Spanish miscegenation with tequila, the French occupation and the triple sec and the indigenous culture at the hand of the lemon.
Ingredients
1 1/2 oz. of Tequila
1 1/2 oz. of Triple Sec
1 oz. of Lemon Juice
Ice
Preparation
In a blender with ice, mix the lemon juice, Tequila and Triple Sec. Blend and leave in the form of granita (frozen). At the edge of the cup, pass a lemon and turn into a small mountain of salt. Serve the mixture and decorate with a slice of lemon.
