It's no wonder, then, that if your body's water percentage lowers below 57 percent (a loss of 5-8 percent), you'll feel weary and disoriented. You're a shambles by 54 percent (a ten percent drop). And you're practically dead by the time your body mass reaches 51 percent water (-15 percent).

Isn't that the obvious conclusion? The importance of drinking water cannot be overstated. It's a simple habit to develop, and mastering it will not only keep you healthy, but it will also help you accomplish large goals.

And while that's a nice place to start, it's basically garbage.

The truth is that how much you should drink is determined by a variety of circumstances. Who you are, where you are, how hot it is, how busy you are, what else you're eating and drinking, and even your altitude all play a role.
