A very cool thing happened on the way from last night

We went out to a friend’s place for dinner to celebrate my wife’s birthday last night and on the way home we kept an eye on the odometer in the car.

It has been building up and up to a significant milestone – 10,000 kms, and last night it clicked over.

Note the video was taken by my wife. I had both hands on the wheel the whole time.

In 10 days my little car will be one year old. So it has been busy over the last year. I think this is the first time I’ve clocked up 10,000kms driving in a single year.

It doesnt seem that long ago that a proud new owner came to show off his new car.
As for the milsge ( kilometerage doesnt sound right) this is what happens when you go to all these strange places to go running.

I know! The year seems to have gone by so fast. So much has happened since we bought the car.

I'm really liking it though, and I'm really happy we bought it. It's small enough for city driving, and big enough for long trips - just right ;-)
