Trying out steemit as a platform to share my First Person View Drone Flying. These drones are packed with incredible thrust to weight ratios that propel them through the air at speeds up to 125mph. Video signals are feed to the pilot through live streaming video. The pilot navigates using the video feed and VR style goggles. A Gopro is strapped to the top of the craft to record and present the flight as seen through the eyes of the pilot.
It has been described as extreme sports for nerds. After years of hang gliding, skydiving, skateboarding, kiteboarding, and canyon racing, I moved to a less dangerous source of adrenaline flow. Here is a dizzying example:
