Hello,
Well this year, I couldn't take it no more. I just put my foot out there and had to do something.
I been middle-manning like crazy. I middle man on and offline. I target craigslist, offerup, and etc. Lately, I been targeting EBAY & Facebook groups.
First method: MIDDLE-MAN "BUY NOW" ITEMS (craigslist and ebay)
Join "Buying and Selling" Facebook groups on facebook... these groups are groups where people post all the things that they have for sale and or things that they are looking to buy. I'm in a few groups that have 50k plus users, and people who are on the hunt for a lot of stuff.
However, I go on eBay and find things like iPhones, sneakers, clothes, computers and etc, and take the pics from eBay, post them in the group and add $25-$80 to the original price and when someone buy them from me, I just put buy the item from my paypal account and put the buyers information in as a gift or even as a buyer (ship to) and sell it to them. I usually inform the eBay seller what I'm up to, sometimes, depending on the items.
I usually let the seller know I'm middle manning if it's an item that they have regularly. Like there's this hot "THING" that's in demand (I won't say cause I ain't trying to have everybody up on this and steal my sales) lol but there's a hot thing that is creatively built, and a guy on eBay makes these things full time, I informed him what I was middle man, and he was all for it. Most buyers don't give a f!ck and probably prefer someone else to do all the work for them. I brought him 2 sales last week, that was the initial item that I started to middle man. My add on fee that I add on to the item for profit, is never that much, unless it's a steal on the original seller's end. However, when you're not trying to be greedy, you attract more customers and get faster sales. I even sell my gift cards from Swagbucks on there. I had a $25.00 Nike Gift card, I sold for $10.00 (small money, but it's still profit).
A small percentage of these buyers in some of these groups are in my area, so I could easily buy the item myself from the seller on eBay and meet up to sell it personally. But that's too risky now a days, not saying that I wouldn't and that I haven't met up with people from craigslist. However, I just prefer to do it paypal, because then we are both secured and probably 70% of the people on there isn't in my area.. But most of them send me money via Western Union or the SquareCash app or Green dot to Green dot. However, there is a invoice service that I will start to use for people that pay me via Western Union or any way other than Paypal - that will provide proof of sale and confirmation. I'm very personable with the buyers. I'm not pushy or give any vibes that I am a scammer cause I am not. It's so many scams out there it's ridiculous. Don't be that person.
Second Method: "AUCTION ITEMS"
This method is good because you can half of the time get a bigger profit off an item that is under auction terms cause 9x out of 10x you probably will buy it for less than it's worth. Depending on a few factors. There was a NBA jersey that was customized and pretty dope up for auction, I bidded on it and was the highest bidder for $13.50. I won the bid and got the jersey in like a week, that seller was a slow shipper. I posted this jersey for $35.00 and someone offered me $25, for it and I took it and still made a profit. It wasn't about the fact that I probably could of got more for it, it was about "PROFIT", maybe if they offered $20.00 I probably wouldn't have cause that would have been only a $6.50 profit. And even that small amount isn't bad, profit is profit and it adds up when you keep hustling.
I started doing this July 30, and from then on I been bringing in some cash. I don't make sales everyday, I won't even lie. But at least 3 days out of the week I been snagging $25 to $150 in a day. I'm trying to hit a goal, I'm trying to save up $3800 by September 22, and plus I work full time so if I had more time I could put more time into finding sh!t online. It definitely is something one can make a career doing. Definitely can be structured into a website to bring in some passive income, even for higher end items like cars, boats, bikes and etc.
This may be something that everyone knows about. But I just wanted to share this. It doesn't cost you shit to try. My partner was telling me that this will become a headache once buyers start complaining and shit about items not being this, or lying and saying they didn't receive the items. That's why I like to tell the eBay seller what's going on to let them know what's going on so maybe they can add insurance to their packages and for them to keep the copy of all the items shipped. But this is sh!t sellers deal with anyway. I haven't had that problem, hopefully I don't run into that problem. I'm 2500 away from hitting my goal and then I'm out the game.... for a little while atleast.
Enjoy until the next post
